Start here

Everyone on the open slope has to be able to control their speed and direction, so if you're new you'll start with lessons. Most beginners get there in about six.

  1. 01

    Level one

    Never had skis on your feet. Stance, balance and your first snowplough.

  2. 02

    Level two

    Single turns to a stop. Linking them up and using the lift.

  3. 03

    Level three

    Linked turns and confident on the lift. Ready for open practice.

Forty years of teaching Essex to ski

Our Snowsports School is one of the most qualified and experienced in the UK, with over 40 years of experience. Our aim is to provide a safe, fun and professionally run environment for everyone to come and learn and practise their skills, whether as a sporting activity or in preparation for a winter holiday on snow.

One of the benefits of learning on a dry slope is that it offers you a good platform to learn on and it promotes a sound technique. Once you have mastered your activity on this surface it will make it all that much easier when riding on actual snow.

Leave at junction 28 for Brentwood, and we're at the top of Warley Gap behind the Ford offices. Trains from Liverpool Street to Brentwood take under 40 minutes.
